Skiing can be a means of transport, a recreational activity or a competitive winter sport in which the participants show varying degrees of mastery on the slippery stuff.

I just love this picture of someone launching themself into the unknown free at least for a short time. Free of the worries of the world.

On any winters day when the snow is in the mountains, these images show what I would like to do when I am simply running free.
